A small vineyard run by Valerie Coudrain-Tribaut and her family in the Premier Cru village of Hautvillers; made famous by Dom Perignon. G. Tribaut champagnes are characteristic of the mineral terroir and they are dry and complex in style. Valerie and her family also run a champagne museum in Hautvillers and her sons are beginning to help in the business and learn the ropes! A complex, well-balanced and well rounded champagne, with poached pears on the nose and on the palate, and delicate hints of sweet candied fruits and red fruit jam. The relatively low dosage allows the fruit flavours in the champagne to shine through. This award winning Champagne is quoted in Guide Hachette 2010 & 2011. This is a lovely aperitif Champagne.
