Thierry Forget is at the helm of the House of Forget which is also situated in the Premier Cru Village of Ludes in the Montage De Reims. Thierry assures us that this Champagne is best enjoyed slightly warmer than normal at 10 degrees centigrade. It is a blend of 33% Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. If you like bready champagne this one has your name on it. This a special aperitif champagne and very good with fish or canapés, but it is particularly wonderful with pan fried mushrooms and crusty bread. From their annual production of 95,000 bottles only 5% of that is exported so it is a rare treat over here. This Gold Medal winning champagne has recently been selected at a top London Champagne Bar.
